Who:

Vetherb has been produced by James and Vanessa Hart of Cambridge, New Zealand. They are both qualified herbalists and long standing members of the New Zealand Association of Medical Herbalists.

James and Vanessa also have wide experience with animal with over 25 years farming experience in the management of livestock including cattle, goats and horses.

As animal herbalists they are widely regarded in New Zealand and regularly give lectures to veterinary and herbals students. James has been a regular contributor to the New Zealand Horse and Pony magazine.

Why:

Most of the information available to animal owners about sickness and treatment comes form the pharmaceutical companies which quite understandably want you to buy their products. there are a few books on the subject but by their very nature they become dated quite quickly.

Because of the nature of the regulations regarding over the counter herbal products for animals the manufacturers and retailers of these products are very restricted in what they can say.

It is the intention of this site to give unbiased reliable information. by its nature it will be of more use if the information comes from a range of sources.
